5E were tasked with building their own machines to transport water from the River Nile to land. Using inspiration from the shadufs used in Egypt, we explored the use of levers, pivots and counterweights. Ingenuity and interdependence was shown by everyone, producing some really unique devices. Amazing work and effort 5E!

We met a dog called Bailey and learned all about how to treat dogs with care and respect. We also learned how to keep safe around dogs that we may not know. We had a really interesting assembly and we are grateful to The Dogs Trust for coming in to see us.
