The Scholastic Book Fair has arrived at Bournville Junior School.  There is  a great variety of fiction and non-fiction books, posters and stationary. An amazing £430 raised by children and staff this year! Thank you to everyone who contributed. Thanks especially to the kitchen team who made over 200 biscuits before work this morning, awesome!

Year 5 Poetry

Today Year 5 have each written an individual stanza using descriptive language.  Their stanza has been based on the poem, ‘Winter Trees’ by Sue Nichols.   Winter Trees Gnarled hands in upward prayer for green. We have given them the opportunity to blog this poetry for you to see.
