5T’s balloon cars

By Abigail Tomlins on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Science, Year 5. 3 Comments

We had a super afternoon of science in 5T building and testing model cars.
The children started to identify different ways their cars could be improved in order to help them travel further! We looked at the size and shape of the wheels, weight of the chassis, the amount of air blown into the balloon, and the types of materials used.
Everyone showed an exceptional amount of perseverance and fantastic team work. Well done 5T, you should be proud! 😊
