Sumdog success – and we’re only 9 days in!

As well as practising their maths skills independently over the summer, the children have already completed lots of practice on Sumdog. Some children in year 3 have already achieved  badges. Well done BJS mathematicians! Remember to keep practising those  skills.

Year 3 shadow making

Year 3 did some cross curricular investigations, which included performing a scene from a book they are studying in English. To do this they used shadow dancing to explore their  Science topic which is light.

The Dogs Trust Visit

We met a dog called Bailey and learned all about how to treat dogs with care and respect. We also learned how to keep safe around dogs that we may not know. We had a really interesting assembly and we are grateful to The Dogs Trust for coming in to see us.
